Learn more about working with ScreenRec
After you've got ScreenRec installed, you only need to either press Alt + S or the camera button that appears to take a screenshot. You can capture a specific area of your screen (screen clipping) or capture the full screen. It’s so simple that you’ll soon wonder how you did it without this free screenshot tool :) ScreenRec allows you to screenshot on PC and Linux and it will soon become a snipping tool for Mac, too.
All of your screenshots are stored in the Image Library and are automatically uploaded to your own free cloud storage. You can view them by pressing the 'Gallery' button. By clicking the 'Get Link' button you also get an instant sharable link for your screenshot which you can directly paste in an email, website, etc.
All your screenshots are automatically saved to the Gallery so you can review them any time. Go there and click on the "Copy to Clipboard” button to copy your screenshot image and paste it wherever you need by clicking “Paste” or “Ctrl + V”. That’s it! This simplicity earns ScreenRec a place among the best free screenshot tools out there.
Yes, besides quick screenshot software, ScreenRec is also a screenshot annotation tool that allows you to add callouts, arrows, rectangles or actual text anywhere on your screenshot. What's even better is you can then move or delete any of these annotations and you can change the fonts, colors and outlines of the shapes. So, if you’re looking for a Print Screen program or a Linux screenshot tool, look no further.
